Feb 19, 2025
The tips for using cold-drawn hexagonal steel mainly include the following points:
Avoid hitting the surface with a hammer: When using cold-drawn hexagonal steel, avoid hitting its surface directly with a hammer to prevent surface damage and deformation.
Install a sleeve during processing: During processing, a sleeve must be installed, and the gap between the sleeve and the pipe should be greater than 10 mm to prevent impurities from entering the gap.
Avoid contact with carbon steel brackets: Cold-drawn hexagonal steel should not be in direct contact with carbon steel brackets to prevent carburization and corrosion.
Proper storage: When storing cold-drawn hexagonal steel, it should be separated by wooden boards or other components to avoid direct contact.
Material and specification information of cold-drawn hexagonal steel:
Material: Common materials include A3, Q235B, 45#, 20Cr, 40Cr, 42CrMo, etc.
Size range: The opposite side size is 44 to 100100 mm.
Length: The length of a single piece is about 3-9 meters, and it can also be produced to a fixed length according to user requirements.
